Who we are and what we do

Cornerstone Consulting Engineers Ltd has been providing structural design since 1999. We have worked on thousands of projects from simple wall openings to commercial developments with construction value between £1K and £5 million.

All sites and projects are unique and we take care to make sure that the final design enhances your home and is buildable and cost effective.

We are with you through the design stage. Once you are happy with the architectural layout, we will get involved to assess the site and develop a design for your builder to price and to submit to Building Control. We liaise with your builder and Architect to refine the construction details and work with your budget to make your plans into a reality.

For most projects we recommend that you engage an Architect or Architectural technician to design the layout and provide construction details. An Architect will help you make the most of your home’s potential, save your money and help manage the build process and budgets so you can have peace of mind.

We also work with you Party Wall Survey, Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager if needed. We will arrange for any related specialist surveys and testing (e.g. site investigation and soil testing)
